Say I use a bookmark to get to a web page. Than later on I manually delete reference on History panel - also deletes actual bookmark. Never happened with vn!
Sequence of operations leading to problem:
!) Use existing bookmark to go to required web page. 2) Later on I manually delete History panel reference to this bookmark - 'remove' command. 3) Looking through Bookmark panel list sometime later, I notice that the bookmark I'd used previously has been deleted. I have not gone to Bookmark panel and explicitly deleted item. Deletion is definitely due to having removed item reference from History panel.
This behaviour has only recently started - I think with FF for Android release 31 or 32. Certainly did not happen with versions before clear history bar on History panel was introduced. I'm now on version 32.0.3
Question being entered on desktop machine so 'guessed' version info irrelevant, so I've manually entered version info, etc. below...
Thanks, Rob.

HI dislexic_wobmat,
It looks like this is fixed in the next version of Firefox beta.

Hi Rob, When you removed the history entry was it under Top Sites? I just reproduced this as well I will file a bug!
Please follow this bug to keep tabs on updates to this bug. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1076452
Thanks for raising a bug report! I have the 'Top Sites' panel set as hidden so the history entry would have actually been removed from the 'History' panel itself.
Your checking on this issue is much appreciated...
Rob.
