I need to do the simplest thing. I see a web page I want to get back to later. I bookmark it. Later today or tomorrow or whatever I try to find it. And that is borderline impossible. It's not something I categorize or file away in well defined folders for future reference. I just want to read it later. It it's go e, lost in no particular order in a cast list of bookmarks. All I want is to find these fairly recent bookmarks, read, and delete. Is that simplest of actions not possible?

Why don't you use Collections for such a temporary tasks?

Collections sounds like an idea, I'll try that. But what happens is I see a page, I mark it, then a few days later I want to look at it, perhaps on another device. So I'd like to have the page links available across all devices in my Firefox account. And some of them I do want to keep and archive. So for them I'd want to easily add to Bookmarks.

What I envision is something like this:

One button save to:

  • Uncategorized storage, sortable but all in one list. Like a landing zone or "to be reviewed" list
  • Categorized Storage:
 *Category A
 *Category B
 *Category C

All available across all my devices. Then, I can review in date order the uncategorized items and either read and dispose of them, or read and move to the proper category folder, or maybe just move them if I just want to keep them. But the key to all this is having a folder that bookmarks just drop into for later perusal and disposition. But they'd have to be sortable by date and alpha, ascending and descending, at least.

Really all that's missing is sorting.

Hi

If you save the page to bookmarks, when you search in the address bar, by default, Firefox for Android will also search your saved bookmarks.

I hope that this helps.
