I have two accounts, wbob@optusnet.com.au & OPTUSNET, which I have using for many years. A few days ago the Sent emails not showing in Sent Items folder in both accounts. I have consulted Chatptg, and played around in the ☰ Menu → Account Settings → your email account → Copies & Folders. Many test emails to my self and I think I have made it worst. I hope you can help me PS. I don't like the two account arrangement, back & forth checking inbox every day. Thank you Bob

Firefox just updated to version 157.0 and now all of my bookmarks are gone. I export my bookmarks but even when I go to Manage my Bookmarks and try to import the file I saved, clicking Browse button doesn't do anything. What happened to my bookmarks?

Due to issues with upgrading from Ubuntu 24.04.1 to 26.04.1, I decided to just start from scratch with a new clean install.

After finalising the install, I copied across my Thunderbird data to the new partition, merging directories as the data copied across. But, somewhere in the transfer I lost about the last two years emails, with only emails up until 12/24 being available.

There are a lot a important emails I need to recover, and I'm guessing they're still on my PC, in the old partition, and I desperately need help to recover them.

Okay, so, I just factory reset my phone because I thought I had a virus. Why? Because Firefox once or twice opened itself onto a website while I was playing a game and it had "there is a third party app on your phone that may be accessing your bank details" with an ignore and scan button below it. Now, I have paranoia and was having an episode during one of these and accidentally clicked the scan button, so I decided this is probably some sort of virus or something that's doing this, because Firefox shouldn't be the one telling me this, right? I'm correct there, right?? Anyways, it has once again happened since I factory reset my phone, so is this connected to my account? I just reset it yesterday and I don't think there's any chance I went to a suspicious site in that time. Is it possibly my ESim? Do I need to do something about that? Do I need to contact google about my pixel acting weird? What can I do so I can stop this issue so it doesn't cause any more paranoia?

I just put on the latest update. How do I get rid of this new colored shit that some wiseass thought would look cute or pretty? I want the browser home page to look like it did before this update. How do I revert to it, while I review other browsers to go to?

MacOS Tahoe 26.7.1 Firefox Ver 157.0 My download preferences are ignored and downloads go directly to download folder without asking. All downloads have a .part extension even after download is complete. I tried trouble shooting mode and then added a new profile but the problem happens in all instances.

I mostly like the UI changes. However, I have a persistent bug where there is an unremovable blue alert icon on the sidebar/history button. Aside from removing this button from the UI completely, is there any way to dismiss this alert?

Second question: while in the sidebar, I navigated from History to Bookmarks. I no longer have the ability to change the sidebar away from Bookmarks. How do I get History back?

How can I figure out why NYTimes videos don't with in my android browser?

I've tried resetting my browser and reinstalling Firefox and they still don't work.

I had the same issue on desktop but after the new update today, they now work.

I use a note keeping app that saves copied snippets from the web with the source URL. I've noticed that Firefox has recently started stripping URLs - the SourceURL field now only contains the domain in the html format payload.

For instance if I copy a snippet from a wikipedia page in Firefox and view the HTML format information stored on the clipboard, I see:

Previously, the source url field would contain the full URL for the page, and if I try in Edge, it still copies the full URL for instance:
