When I open the File Downlad box in Firefox (v28) and am asked to select a file to download...as I click to scroll down the File Download box things work well...then suddenly things scroll down (fast) to the bottom of the File Download by itself.

How do I stop this from happening?

Thanks

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
