That Norton path has nothing to do with Chrome. It sounds like Windows is trying to access a Norton updater file that was deleted, which may be why you’re getting the error.

I would not manually delete the Norton folder yet.

Try this:

Press Win + R and paste: C:\ProgramData\Norton See if the folder and the long {0C55...} folder are still there. If Norton is still installed, open Norton and let it update/repair itself first. If Norton has already been removed or is damaged, use Norton’s Remove and Reinstall/Removal tool to clean up the leftover files. Then try uninstalling Chrome again from Settings → Apps → Installed apps.

If Chrome still gives you that Norton error, post the exact error message, especially the filename it says is missing. That will tell us whether Chrome is actually the problem or Windows Installer is getting confused by the old Norton entry.

I tried Win + R, the long OCS5; it came back as " file not found. Norton updated, but it still will not uninstall.

The error comes in a Windows Installer window. So I think Windows wants the file to uninstall it. Is there a way to find the file Windows wants in the Registry? Then copy that file back to the location Windows wants?

The file it wants is: C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Updater\
