Sorry should have explained more. For GAYL to work cookies from the shop site have to interact with GAYL site. If they don't you don't get a donation.

You may be blocking cross site cookies and the site use another organisation to actually collect the funds, like many businesses may use Paypal, Shop pay etc.

So if that site is block, then funds cannot be taken from the account to offer to GAYL

For example I block all Coolies and so Allow sites I am happy to store Cookies on my computer.

By the way if you allow a lot of cookies it can effect performance, so what I do in your case would be to see what external site, or even ask GAYL and then allow cookies for that site.

Thanks and noted. Could be. What I don't know is the detail of how to get Firefox to allow GAYL cookies! Where should I look to see if this is the problem? PS Will not see this page again until Monday.

Unless you have blocked cookies GAYL cookies should be there.

You can check under Settings > Privacy and security > Browsing data

Under Clear data for specific sites you can see if GAYL has cookies on your device.

The issue is 'who' do they use to get the funds transferred?

Just read up: The 'new' default is all cross-site cookies are disabled so will find the site used to take the payment and allow them access to your device.

Get to Customise Tracking Protection > Advanced settings > Customised tracking protection > Cookies >

I block All and add each site as needed, so if you cannot find the site then you will have to Allow all cookies
