Links not working on New York Times

paul759 replied

When reading the New York Times, on any page but the first, links do not work.

This problem does not occur in Troubleshooting mode, which I understand means some setting or extension is causing the problem.

How do I find out which setting or extension to change?

I'd start with disabling all addons, esp. anything about privacy or intervening in the content, and enabling them back as needed. Generally the steps are covered here: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems

That seems to have done it. I'm not sure when these extensions got added or why, but now I can be alert to this problem recurring if and when I re-enable an extension.

Thanks for your help!
