I change by password on the manage passwords login screen, however I can not login unless I use old password. Why is this?

Which password are you trying to change?

I am trying to change the password that allows access to webmail. Using the manage password option at this point, which is within my Firefox passwords. So is the primary or master password. Regards Phil

Have you closed Firefox and cleared any cache etc. and by the way which OS are you using, as Win [Shut down] retains memory and in some cases [Restart] clear 'memory'

To change a password for any account, you need to go to the corresponding website/service and change the password as suggested there. Changing a Firefox entry will not change the password on the server.
