In Thunderbird all of a sudden my sent e-mails are going in to the sent box of ANOTHER e-mail address I have on Thunderbird. I looked at some similar posts and think my settings are correct but obviously not. Please help! Thanks, Adam

- click ;account settings' - then click the 'copies&folders pane for the account and review to which folder you are saving sent messages.

Hi David, thanks for answering. First off I am using Ethernet direct to my home PC, Internet company is Xfinity. My e-mail address that has the problem is adamf@eeco.com, I own the domain name. Sent messages for THIS e-mail are save to: "SENT" FOLDER ON: adamf@eeco.com

Thanks, Adam

Are they being saved to another account you manage with Thunderbird? Just for sanity, please post screenshots of the 'copies&folders pane for both accounts. My hope is that it may help others here in deciphering the problem. thank you

Yes, it did save to another e-mail on Thunderbird, an Xfinity e-mail address (Comcast), I made a couple of changes, l;et me monitor it through the day and see if it worked. Thanks, Adam

Hi, so far it seems OK. For my outbound SMTP server I was using Comcast and the sent e-mail folder that all of a sudden the e-mails started to go to was an Xfinity/Comcast e-mail so I changed the SMTP server to that of my domain name and so far it's working. Xfinity must have changed something because this is a new problem. Thanks, Adam

Thanks for feedback. I don't know xfinity or comcast, but users post problems with those two frequently here.
