Thunderbird Stuck
I accidentally selected "view" instead of "delete" for ~300 messages. On restart T-bird crashes before displaying the Inbox. I cannot now view any old messages. Is there a way to stop T-bird from trying to view the ~300 messages? Thanks.
Thunderbird generated a crash report but did not send it. I got "There was a problem submitting your report"

Maybe this is a saved in the last session file.
Exit Thunderbird if running :)
Assuming you use Windows OS..
- In windows search type: %Appdata% - see image as guide
- Select the '%Appdata% file folder
- Select the 'Roaming' folder
- Select the 'Thunderbird' folder
- Select the 'Profiles' folder
- Select the 'name of profile' folder
Delete the following files:
- 'session.json'
- 'xulstore.json'
Start Thunderbird

Did that work?
Yes. T-bird's appearance had changed, but I restored the familiar interface by changing some settings.
Most importantly, I was able to access my messages again.
