Thunderbird changing email from spam
I am running Windows 10, Thunderbird 102.3.1 (64-bit). The menu is displayed! I am trying to change an email from spam. In doing the research on how to do this I found that I need to go to Tools>preferences. Preferences does not show in the tools menu. How do I correct this?

I need to go to Tools>preferences
It's now Tools - Settings.

In order to tell Thunderbird a message has been falsely classified as junk, right-click the message in the thread pane - Mark - As Not Junk

I tried that and nothing happens!
Log in to your account via webmail, and check whether those messages are flagged as spam/junk there. You can change the junk status there as well.
