Today, for the first time, firefox aborted (not typical crash), where the program quickly terminated (fastest I've ever seen)... dell dual core cpu 6gb ram winbloz 7 home edition firefox 27.0.1 Was only running winbloz file explorer, vlc media player (on pause), and spider solitaire at the time... On clicking on icon, firefox restarted in less than 10 seconds (very not normal for me), but had lost all current open tabs, and pinned tabs, and did NOT have a recover page, as firefox did not seem to know it had died... I am an extremely heavy firefox user, and typically have 15+ open tabs, using 2GB+ of memory (system has 6GB memory), so crashes are not a rare thing with me, I just live with it... I believe I had around 24 open tabs when firefox died, and last I checked (approx 2 hours), was using 2.5GB ram... (avg whines 5-6 times a day on firefox memory usage)... Was not doing any downloads at the time, nor running any javascript (that I noticed), which typically cause most firefox crashes... (hit pagedown while reading text on a fairly clean site (http://www.greenarrays.com)...)... Sure wish yall would focus on firefox program integrity, rather than just eye candy as seems to be the case the past couple of years... (get some old fart unix/bsd/linux hackers back in charge, rather than microsloppy reared script kiddies...)
