Whenever i try to go to home.nyu.edu i get an error screen that says, "This Connection is Untrusted"

Did you try to remove the leading www. and try to access https://home.nyu.edu/ ?

www.home.nyu.edu uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names: home.nyu.edu , testhome.home.syr.nyu.edu , testhome.nyu.edu
