Where are the Norton Site OK boxes now?
Hi Guys
I am a Norton 360 user. Once upon a time, there used to be these little coloured boxes that appeared nest to links on the google search pages to tell you in advance if a site was trustworthy or not. They don't seem to have been there for some time now and I'm wondering if this is to do with Mozilla, or google or what?
Can you help?
Many Thanks

Which version of Norton 360 do you have installed? 2012 or 2013?
Have you tried the Norton "community" support forum for help?

Norton add-ons for Firefox are made by Norton, which is responsible for their support.

Hello there!
Sometimes when you update your browser your addons might become incompatible with the new version of Firefox. Did you update Firefox recently? If not, try restarting Firefox with only the Norton addons enabled.
Hope it helps! :P
Hi Omar
Thanks for reply. Yes, Firefox updated recently. I cannot see Norton in any of the listed Add-ons. I may have to wait for Firefox for this.
Cheers

I am using Firefox and Norton 360. So far no problem. Have you tried running both update checks? You could also try re-installing Norton.
Many thanks all.
I'll give Norton community support forum a go, and we'll call the problem solved for the time being.
fredmcd, many thanks for your reply too. I thought I'd clicked that as helpful too, but I evidently didn't and I can't figure how to make this thread page give me a second go. Apologies, and again thank you for your suggestion also.
Cheers

One final entry - for the benefit of anyone stumbling on this thread. I did refer the question to the Norton community and it was solved there. Since it's a handy thing for Norton users to be aware of, might I include a link to the relevant thread there: http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-360/Norton-quot-Site-OK-quot-Boxes-on-Google-search-Pages-on-Wreb/td-p/964495
(Mozilla mods, as I'm not sure if posting this addition is in order, feel free to delete or amend it. I just thought it might be helpful to add it.)
Many thanks
