Since I downloaded the new version it has told me that skype will not work! Why?

Is the Skype extension in Firefox enabled? 

Firefox button > Add-ons -> Extensions

It was likely referring to the Skype extension installed in Firefox as noted above and not the separate Skype application.

Hi I Tried reinstalling Skype (their latest version of 2 days ago.) The suggestions here above don't work either. I am using Windows XP Professional. And there aren't any FF extensions on my PC, only the SKYPEclicktocall that has been disabled with your latest update. On your website I don't find any other SKYPE add-ons/extensions. Can you help? (I am a non-technical person, so please tell me everything you seen on the screen step by step... :-) Thanks

Skype click to call just got disabled on my computer. Don't know why and which software is the problem. I NEED my skype to talk to my son in Korea. It is my only venue to talk to him at the moment, so this is VERY important to solve.

Do you people even respond, I see several problem post regarding skype click to call and do not see 1 response from firefox, ( I have the same problem) why do you people ask folks to register when you do not even respond to their problems??????????????

Guess Firfox being FREE will not repond to these threads, I use skype all the time for my work I switched browers I like firefox better but that is the same as liking a girl that does not like you back

In Firefox 23 Skype click to call is permanently disabled. Is their something interfering with Skype that could be sacrificed for Skype.

Skype integrates itself with Firefox via an add-on. Each add-on developer is responsible for supporting their add-ons for Firefox; and for keeping their add-on up-to-date as new versions of Firefox are released.
