When I downloaded a file I clicked the box that said 'I want Firefox to do this every time' or something similar and I want to know how I can change it back so it asks me whether I want to save the file or open it?

I have downloaded many times before but I never clicked the option to allow Firefox to keep the settings I had picked for that download and automatically do that for every download. I thought I would know how to change it back but clearly not. Can you please give me the instructions on how to get the window with the download options to sppeare everytime I download, thanks.

Hi Doduop11,

This is a pretty easy one to fix. Just take a look at the Knowledge Base article Applications panel - Set how Firefox handles different types of files. It will give you all the information you need to change the default behavior of the file.

Hopefully this helps!

Almost, at the bottom ofthis page, it explains what I did but I want to know how to reverse that.

EDIT:Problem Fixed thanks for the link though it did actually help
