Whenever I try downloading Firefox 4 Beta, I lose my toolbars -- why?
Whenever I try updating to Firefox 4 Beta, my toolbars are gone, so I go back to Firefox 3. I won't use Firefox 4 Beta unless I can have my toolbars. Will this version ever allow for toolbars?

If the toolbars are added by add-ons, the add-ons may not be compatible with Firefox 4 and have been disabled. You can check to see if the developers of the add-ons have released updated versions that work with Firefox 4.
I have 4 toolbars. One is a Firefox add-on. The other 3 are Yahoo, Google, and Norton (from my anti-virus software). All are the latest versions. *Sigh* Looks like I will have to stay with Firefox version 3, I guess.
Symantec have been very slow in updating their add-ons (this is not the first time they have been slow). They have indicated that for Norton 360 they will not update their toolbar until early May, I don;'t know about estimated timescale for their other products.
The Yahoo toolbar has been updated and is available from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/yahoo-toolbar
The Google toolbar has also been updated and is available from http://www.google.com/toolbar/ff/index.html
Thank you so much, TonyE, for the links to updates for the Yahoo and Google toolbars. I have used those links to do the updates.
To be honest, I am too "gun-shy" now to try updating to Firefox 4 Beta. However, does this version have any advantages that make updating to it worthwhile? And, I won't update until I know I will still have my toolbars, of course. Also, I have been having a problem with Javascript lately -- the "Warning: Unresponsive Script" has been coming up for virtually everything I'm doing. Don't know if Firefox has anything to do with this problem, of course -- I just wish I knew what to do to fix this. Can you help with this?
