firefox 4.0 will not download at all, I get the circle with a slash. I have mac osx.

I had firefox 3.6, downloaded free upgrade, which totally replaced the old one, it's gone. But the new icon has a circle and slash on it and is not viable. Doesn't work, doesn't open, messages says: You cannot open the application Firefox.app because it is not supported on this system. I have Mac OSX 10.4.11.

Same problem, but I'm on OSX 10.5.8 - non Intel mac.

Wording is actually "... because it is not supported on this architecture."

Ironic that I have to use Safari to post this. :)
