when I open firefox there is a screen with its logo and an arrow to the applications file. How do I get rid of this anoying screen?

Originally when I installed the program, this screen appeared and I clicked it and the program appeared in the applications folder. But it still appears everytime I start the program.

Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the DMG file and drag to Firefox program to the application folder on your hard drive.
You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but drag it out of the DMG folder instead.
