firefox sound fix needed...
ive been useing firefox forever, and lately whenever i go online to any kind of website, firefox will NOT play any kind of sound, but it will play videos. I have no idea why or how this has happened, everywhere i look it never seems to give me a exact fix or answer, im useing firefox 3.6.10 and id like to get this issue fixed, im to the point to where im about to disown any and all mozilla firefox softwear.

ive seen and been to that page alot, and no it does not help
Did you check the setting for Firefox in the Volume Mixer?
You can click the Volume icon on the Windows Taskbar near the clock and click the Mixer link at the bottom to open the mixer.
You can adjust the volume level for each application in that window, so make sure that Firefox is not muted or set at a low level.
You will only see the Firefox program in the Mixer if you are on a website that plays sound.
You can also try to clear the Flash cookies and settings.

if i go to the Flash Website Storage Settings panel, and i delete all the websites, if i do this will i lose all my stored passwords?
No. The Flash storage panel only effects settings an cookies created by the Flash plugin. So your Firefox profile data is not affected. There are websites that store log in data in a Flash cookie to recognize you (some banks do), so you can choose to only clear data only from specific sites that cause problems if you are not sure about that.
those methods also did not work, the "mixer" tab for volume only shows "windows sounds" and "speakers" only, when i open a video or so, there isnt any other options there, any other things i should do or try?
