Xmarks login/master password feature

Since upgrading FF I get a window to sign into Xmarks. I understand that if I check "remember me" that it will prevent my master password window from popping up. But if I do that, doesn't it defeat the security of having a master password ?? - What if someone else is using my computer?

my master password box will pop up, but xmarks doesnt recognize that I have the info saved in FF. I think this may actually be an issue with the newest 3.7.8 xmarks as they changed something with the login concerning java
