Thunderbird by design changes Outlook deleted folder to trash.

Problem with this is that you end up with 2 trash folders.

One for Thunderbird and one from Outlook.

Chnage this so Thunderbird does not change Outlook deleted folder name.

I suggest you file a bug report. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/home

I think that is the only way the developers will comprehend just how disruptive that decision was.

Thanks.

Somehow I got one of my emails fixed but 3 others still have 2 trash folders.

They need to add a Delete folder into their code and or allow user to change the name.

Really mesed up.

By definition of the problem which is all caused internally within Thunderbird folder assigment name within IMAP there is not and would not be any link.

Users cannot edit the internal IMAP reassignment of the trash folder name from deleted to trash.
