Mime is the encoding used to transmit attachments. You don't need to add it it is a standard part of email and the web. There is a list of registered media type here https://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types

What you are being told is the video is not in a supported format, probably it uses a proprietary codec like apples HIEC format. Thunderbird can not play it. Try saving it to your desktop and opening the file. Can windows play it?
