hello, I would like to know if there is any solution or extension to manage the times in the day when Thunderbird will or will not look for new emails. For examle I would like to have blocks 13-14h and then 19-20h during the day when it will receive emails but in other parts of the day, there would be no incoming emails. This would gain me more focus.

I was not able to find any solution to this. Just outgoing emails scheduler

Thanks Honza

I'm not aware of an extension that does this, but I think it would be easy to set TB to launch in offline mode, in Options/General/Network & Disk Space/Offline/Offline..., then click the icon at the left end of the Status Bar to go online when desired, then click it again to go offline.

There is also a preference in Config. editor, mail.server.default.use_idle, that is true by default, that might (untested by me) stop IMAP accounts from automatically 'pushing' new mail to TB, if the value is false.
