Whats best way to disable chrome and enable firefox mozilla for Android, or at least as far as is possible.

I understand chrome is "essential" to android but I want to disable/remove it and replace with firefox as much as possible. LIkewise I would like to utilize Thunderbird on my phone. Have them both on linux in my academic research lab but not on my phone. THanks TOm

Glad to hear it, hopefully I can help.

Thunderbird is currently only available for the desktop, there is no Android version available.

To disable chrome, open the Settings apps (typically a cogwheel icon) and select Applications. Find chrome in the list and select Disable.
