Awhile back I clicked on the latest update and it took away all of my saved information blocks to websites and I was very upset by this as it was so unexpected. I was able to revert to the old style Firefox but never trusted it again with the update business!!!! I am able to recongnize the new firefox by the color of the foxes tail and so stay away from it if I want to make sure something is saved. The old saying, when you have something good, don't mess with it

I now use Opera which as similar website blocks, got used to it and like it now as it is trustworthy.

Using outdated Browser provides you no security to sites saved or updated and the risk and support for that is no longer provided even if you ask. And what is meant by "saved information blocks" what is this?

Hi West End, My browser with Opera is not outdated and so that is why I use it. The information blocks are to the websites using Super Start. Click on the block and up comes the website. The only difference with Opera is that it is for one website only as doesn't use Super Start and Firefox has it so that you can put 9 visible websites into one block and so far Opera does one block for each website address. Hope this information helps by answering you question.

Did you lose your bookmarks due to a Firefox update?

You can check if you have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop in case the Refresh feature in Firefox has been used and a new profile has been created.
