I proceed to send an email and receive this error message. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: Service not available, closing transmission channel. Then I check my SENT folder, and it was sent?

Despite the appearance of mail in the sent folder. If you receive an error message it is highly unlikely the mail was actually sent.
