My mothers new phone won't load external links and mine does?

I have way more strict security settings and same extensions. She has 2 and I have 13 extensions but they overlap and are not the issue. When someone sends her a link her Firefox does not convert the link like mine does, she gets a link in format https://share.google/ + string of letters, when she opens it, it's a blank page. When I open the same link it converts it from that to a regular link (https://). I have installed Firefox to at least 3 other people and none have this issue. I don't have this issue on desktop either.

If it makes a difference: Out all the people that have this browser on their phone she's the only one that has a new phone with Android 16 (mine is Android 14). They are both up to date on both software and Firefox updates.

Hi I have a couple of http only pages behind a VPN in a private network. When using Firefox for Android and entering the address, either with "http://" or no prefix, Firefox is not able to connect and instantly switches to "https://" mode. "HTTPS Only" mode is not activated, DNS-Over-TLS is also deactivated.

The page can be opened when using the IP address.

In private mode Firefox opens the page as expected.

All other apps on Android do not show this behaviour, i.e. Chrome for example opens the pages fine as expected.

With Firefox on Linux, it works fine.

How can I make sure that Firefox openes the HTTP page and not switch to HTTPS.

About:config is disabled in Firefox on Android so all tweaks changing the settings there do not work.

Tried this with and without plugins, no difference.

Hi, I use Stay Focused app to block news websites at certain times. However it is not working with Firefox Android. Is there a way to make it work or is this a developer problem? Previously it worked fine so may be related to an update.

I have a web application running in Mozilla Firefox on a handheld device (iData, Android 10).

When the Android virtual keyboard is displayed (triggered by focusing on an input field), the web application is no longer able to receive scan input from the handheld scanner.

The scanner works correctly before the virtual keyboard appears, but once the keyboard is shown, scan events are not captured by the application until the keyboard is dismissed.

This issue impacts workflows that rely on continuous barcode scanning and text input on handheld devices.

I am taking a course online for my medical job I need to launch a course that it is a training course that the business would come to improve care is trying to trade me through but when I click the website it says we've tried to launch the course but blockers have stopped unable to launch course due toblockers

Dear Sir/Madam, Recently I have been having issues accessing a particular website named asus.com for reasons I am unable to discern I keep receiving an error message each time I attempt to access the site. I keep receiving an error message indicating that the site cannot be reached. It should be noted that I do not have any issues with any other websites.
