It should work on Windows 7, though if you want Firefox 2 you would be better off using the last version (2.0.0.20) available from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.20/win32/

You can use a portable Firefox 2.0.0.20 version for those sites and install the regular Firefox 3.6.12 version for all other internet usage.
