I almost downloaded Firefox to my computer but it said it was the wrong one and could be corrupted.. It had dear.dmg in it so I need to download the official Firefox so that I have a browser that will work with my older system.. thank you..

Hi Sally, i'm not sure what "dear" refers to. Quite odd.

For 10.13, you can use this form to select MacOS and then your language. You will eventually see two download buttons, one of which is for the Extended Support Release of Firefox 115.

Go to https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-esr/osx/ pick your language then click on [Download ESR 115] and you should be served the current Firefox 115.44.0esr dmg.

The last planned update for the old Firefox 115 ESR channel will be Fx 115.53.0esr in March unless Mozilla extends updates yet again.
