Thunderbird constantly prompting email login
I'm using a mailbox.org account with TB. I'm receiving messages from it, so I'm logged in, but TB keeps asking me every so often to login again, and it has three popups in a row each time. How do I turn this off?

When Thunderbird needs to access server, the server requests the password, so Thunderbird asks for it. It might be helpful if you uploaded an image file showing that pop-up password request.
You mention 3 pop ups - do you have 3 mail accounts using the mailbox server ?
When prompted for password, do you:
- enter password
- select checkbox to remember password
- click on 'OK
OR do you cancel it ?
Have you added a calendar and/or address book linked to that mailbox server? Could the pop up be looking for those passwords and not the mailbox?
Have you checked to see if all your accounts and passwords are correctly stored in:
- Settings > Privacy and Security
- click on 'Saved Passwords'
- click on 'Show Passwords'
If requested by Microsoft Windows security - enter the computer user account password. If requested by Thunderbird for a Primary Password - enter the Primary Password.
There should be two lines for each account - the incoming and the outgoing
Just wondering - are those 3 pop ups asking for a 'Primary Password' ? That is not the same as a mail account password. If user shares their computer and allows people to access their user account on computer, then people can access that user's profile and see emails. So in order to prevent those people having access to mail account passwords, the user would set up a 'Primary Password' to block that access to stored passwords. Typically, that 'Primary Password' is asked at the start of a session, but if cancelled, emails can still be received but there would be no access to passwords.
