windows thunderbird has stopped displaying message body of my emails
Latest version of Windows 11 Thunderbird has stopped displaying the message body in the message pane ( right side of the screen) . I have another email client that displays the message body perfectly. It does display the message body of any messages save in a folder but will not display newly received messages in the pane. When I click on the message sometimes I get a white blank screen in the message body display pane. HELP!

Try to rebuild the index file of the troubled folder.
Right-click the folder - Properties - Repair Folder
Another thing worth checking is whether the affected messages display correctly when opened in a separate window. If they do, that would help narrow it down to the message pane rather than the messages themselves. It may also be worth checking whether the issue continues in Thunderbird’s Troubleshoot Mode, since an extension or custom setting can sometimes interfere with the message display.

No go in troubleshoot mode or running repair for inbox. Just a blank message display pane. I've tried everything and nothing helps.
Same problem. All totally blank email messages. Repairing folder deletes the messages altogether.
JFORYS,
do not re-use existing threads started by others, even if they are seemingly on the same subject. Ask a new question instead. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/new

So are you saying you still do see messages in the thread pane, and when clicking a message it's blank in the message pane? If so you can try the following: Create a new folder tmp underneath Local Folders. Try to copy one of the blank messages to the newly created tmp folder. Select the message in the thread pane - Copy To. Select the tmp folder as destination. Once the message has been copied to tmp, can you open it with the body content visible?
Note, there is a possibility that you mail file for the troubled folder has been severely corrupted, and your messages may be lost In that case you'd have to restore them from a backup you created prior to the incident.
In case you don't have a backup, create ones in the future. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile
A likely cause for mail file corruption is anti-virus software. To avoid that in the future, create an exception in your anti-virus software for the Thunderbird profile folder, so that the anti-virus real-time scanner will not scan it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_how-to-find-your-profile
My email is from Charter.net and the problem exists for some other users using Charters servers and Thunderbird. They have said they are working on the problem so we'll see.
