Quick fixes for your issue could be: - Check that location services are on for the Google Maps app on Settings - Clear cache for Google Maps - Install/Uninstall

If you’re comfortable sharing, could you tell me what device you’re using? iOS, Samsung, Mac, etc?

I'm on Mac desktop. I did all that already except for install/uninstall. Do you mean google? By the way, the updated location works on Chrome.
