after updating on Ubuntu snap 24.02 FF won't open. need passwords etc saved it
Updated January 18 on Linux Ubuntu desktop 24.02 snap but FF won't open. Want passwords etc. so not want to delete. How in update or what do?

You need to look at the logs to see what's happening when you try to open Firefox from your distro. Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla. Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

You're going to run Firefox from Mozilla and then see if it can import data from your distro version. Run the below cmd to generate a log file called firefox_debug.txt.
strace -t -o firefox_debug.txt firefox &
See screenshot of file that show Firefox exited normally. The log file will be in the working directory that you run the cmd in.
