I'm a Windows person, so I don't know what the suitcase icon is for. Is that for Firefox's data? Yikes. I don't suppose you can recover the deleted files from the system wastebasket/trash/recycling feature? Were you using Firefox Sync ([[Sync Firefox data]])? Do you know whether you have Time Machine backups for your Firefox data? That would be a backup of your profile folder. If Firefox created a completely new profile, the folder name would be different than the one you currently see on the Troubleshooting Information page, but it would be in the same location on disk, so maybe that will help you track it down in the backup.
