I configured autoconfig via config-v1.1.xml for my domain, and it works flawlessly. After IMAP setup, TB tries to autoconfigure a carddav and caldav server. What should I do to have TB detect them? I found no docs at all, but it would be a great feature for a widear spreading of our beloved mail client.

This is I think a topic for the enterprise group. https://thunderbird.topicbox.com/groups/enterprise

The autoconfig stuff is documented here. https://www.bucksch.org/1/projects/thunderbird/autoconfiguration/config-file-format.html

I am not aware of an extension to that specification to support the caldav and carddav servers, but if one does not exist it probably should and I encourage you to raise in in the enterprise list where some of the developers responsible might see it.
