I have imported txt email addresses into Thunderbird, but all I see are icons for each address. If I click on a specific Icon it will show me the name, email address, etc. I have made certain that Directory Pane and Contact Pane are checked. I haven't figure out how to correct the viewing.

Try different options under View/Show Name As. The names must be in the First, Last and Display fields when you open (double-click) a contact.

I changed the name selection to Last Name and it did display. Now I have to figure out how to do a better import as the the name, email address are all under Name. {:-(((

I have given up on importing addresses from Juno. So I am creating new contacts one at a time. The problem is that all that is displayed is the email address, but what I need it their first and last name. I have selected Last Name as well as Display Name under View which has not help.ed If I click on one of the addresses I see their name so the info is their but not being displayed when I open the addresses. I hope you can help.

I have just fixed it by clicking an Icon at the far right of the Addresses Screen.
