Why do all my email accounts and news feed just disappear? Happened about 2 or three months apart.
It has happened at least three times, each time a few months apart. I open my Thunderbird and it requests me to set up an account. All accounts and news feeds are gone. I think Microsoft (10) did an update this time and maybe last. Therefore I need to ask is there a way to backup my settings so I don't have to spend hours getting back my feeds and mail accounts. When I set up the accounts my mail is all there (imap I guess).

It might be it is "loosing" your profiles. Or it might be that the prefs.js file in the profile is being corrupted. IF the link shows old profiles and you are not able to open them as described this is most likely.
