I've just reinstalled Thunderbird on a new PC and copied the complete profile to the PC, opened it, and things seems to work as it should..

Except for one little detail

How my account folders are organized.

I have about 11 different mail accounts, and with several subfolders under each account. Previously the folders were organized by account type. Like this

Account1 inbox Account2 inbox ... Account11 inbox Account 1 sent Account2 sent ... Account 11 sent

and so on.

This was very useful, but now the folders are organized under each account, and I just can't figure out how to change it.

Anyone??

It sounds like you were previously using the 'Unified' view, but are currently viewing in the standard normal view.

Try this: 'Menu icon' > 'Folders' > select 'Unified'
