How can I make text single spaced instead of double spaced?
The first part of my message is correctly single spaced but then I put in a list and it automatically double spaced the items. I want single spacing. There should be something in the formatting to allow single or double spacing.

I am not sure this will fix the list thing (though my lists have been perfectly well behaved) but it will remove the gratuitous line feed after a paragraph.
Tools|Options|Composition|General and clear the checkbox "Use paragraph format..."

23 Dec 2016 In my version of TB the check box which I unticked was labelled "When using paragraph format..."
When writing a message the small window below the Subject line has changed from Paragraph to Body Text.
