Why does my internet security software tell me there is an invalid certificate for 'secure.informaction' everytime I've opened Firefox over the last week.
This happens when I open Firefox, not when I go to a website. My security software asks me if I want to connect to the server at secure.informaction anyway. I do not hit the connect button, I hit the cancel button and continue with my business. I do not notice anything else being affected. The notice is becoming annoying and clearly has something to do with Firefox and its connection to this server. Couldn't Firefox request the server's owner to validate their certificate?

I've called the big guys to help you. Good luck.
Separate Issue; Your System Details shows;
Installed Plug-ins
Garmin Communicator Plug-in Version 4.1.0.0
Garmin Communicator Plug-in Version 4.2.0.0
Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
You must remove the older programs. Then get the current full installer.
Is that the entire address??
The informaction.com domain name is used by the author of the NoScript extension, and https://secure.informaction.com/ currently shows me a blank page, but its certificate is valid through July 1, 2016.
Could you double-check your computer's date, time, and time zone to make sure they are correct?
If that checks out, I don't know what the problem is... unless the request actually is to the wrong domain (i.e., without the .com). Maybe check here:
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the search box above the list, paste secure.informaction and pause while the list is filtered
Do there seem to be any preferences containing that string which have a broken address?
Thank you both for your replies. The first one seems to have worked. Spoke too soon. After a reboot, had the same issue so I did some more investigating. It seems the issue with the certificate is not the date, but the signer. Apparently the same certificate was issued with a new signer, but the program that uses it, no scripts, only recognizes the older signature. From what I have read, there is nothing I can do. It seems it is the issuers problem. Thanks again for your time and efforts.
