open as list after search does not work in 45.0. SOLVED: caused by Mnenhy extension

when I do a search for a name, for example, I get a series a mails corresponding to the name with a diagram of frequencies versus time on top. Under this diagram, I can click on "open as list". Before the upgrade to 45.0, I would get a list of the mails, with one line per mail. I could sort them, or do a more detailed search. Since the upgrade, I get an empty list. Also clicking on any of the e-mails in the first, expanded list, does not open the e-mail as before, but returns an empty list.

The search function of the mails is essential for me in thunderbird. If that does not work properly then thunderbird is not useful anymore. Can you help?

Do you also see the problem when Thunderbird is started in safe mode?

Thanks a lot! 

I was the add-on "Mnenhy  0.8.6.1-signed.1-let-fixed" that caused both (this question and the other related one after the 45.0 upgrade) problems.

Disabling it, solved the issue.

FWIW, the info at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/mnenhy/versions/ doesn't bode well for the future - last update was 2014!
