I have tried using this extension & all it does is cause Firefox to hang & gives a "Not responding" notice. I have tried everything else I can think of but to no avail.. Does anyone know what is wrong or is this something that I really don't need? Osprey 2.0.0.1039

From the quick search I just did, it looks like that Trend Micro Osprey extension is a "Web Reputation" feature. IMO, might be nice to have if it works correctly or doesn't cause problems, but it is not necessary. So, considering that extension may not be working correctly and is causing Firefox to "not respond", I advice is to forget-about-it.

Overall, I briefly tried the WOT - Web of Trust extension years ago (crowd sourced recommendations about which websites not to trust) , which is probably similar to Osprey. Well, I don't trust the opinions of strangers on the internet to "vote" or recommend which web sites to not trust as far as "reputation" goes. But then again I am not a "social networking" type of person and not very "sharing" with strangers, other than sharing my knowledge and experiences with Firefox by contributing to Firefox support at a number of different support fora.
