How to update Alcatel One Touch Fire E to Firefox OS 2.0
How do I update the Alcatel One Touch Fire E to Firefox OS 2.0? I believe Alcatel have released the update, however when I try to update it from the phone it says that no updates are available.
I am in the UK, using an unlocked Fire E I bought from Germany.
I have tried the Update Tool from the Alcatel website but it doesn't do anything.

Alcatel is responsible for the Firefox OS builds tailored to your device, and they will be able to provide you with more information.

I have a factory unlocked FIre E, and unable to update to 2.0.
firefoxosdevices.org shows that the 2.0 was released for the Fire E last Christmas via FOTA, yet it reports no available update when I try.
Wrote to Alcatel also (as Ralph recommended), they don't even reply.

So Alcatel have released the source code on their sourceforge website (http://sourceforge.net/projects/alcatel/) but I have no idea how to build it; there aren't any instructions I've found so far.
I'd prefer the binaries... but Alcatel support have just talked about Android and don't seem to understand what I'm asking
