When I try to watch a video on my TV, by connecting an HDMI cable from Notebook to TV, the vidoe goes through but the audio does not get transferred to the tv.

I tested this out on a Mac and and Windows 7 and the default audio just needs to be changed in systems preferences.

For windows, open up the Volume Mixer and change the output of the audio to the HDMI cable.
