I have Thunderbird installed on my system running Manjaro with the Mate desktop environement. I have been trying to migrate my address books from another system, and though I go through the process following the directions, and Thunderbird indicates that the address books have been imported correctly, the address books do not show up. I have tried, several times to import the address books, every time to no avail, and have even tried reinstalling in an attempt to get the program to behave. I'm beginning to suspect that there is something wrong with the version of Thunderbird that I have installed on my machine as it won't allow me to create a new address book, or to create a new list – click the button and nothing... This is driving me nuts, so I'm hoping there is a solution as I need to have this e-mail client working.
