For the past three days Firefox has crashed randomly, today some websites were not displaying the backgrounds. One website became choppy when I was scrolling.

I updated firefox and I still crash. I have the crash reports for the past three days here:

The Crash Report Shows that this is produce with Video/Audio . Try to check bad/outdated plugins and update them. As Reference This Bug is Relates to your Problem. OOM Error See Comment 11 .

Everything is up to day except VLC Web Plugin. Thing is, I downloaded (twice) the newest version and Firefox says its still not updated.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
