At one point earlier this week, I had to sign out of all but one of my google accounts to get a link for a remote meeting to work. Afterward, when I visited youtube, it logged me in under that google account, which is not the one I use for browsing on my own time; I logged out, then, when I tried to log in under the proper account, google/youtube thought erroneously that I had set a passkey, and it and my password manager fought. I fixed the conflict (deleted the unset passkey). Then Youtube stopped letting me log in; no matter what, I get sent to www.youtube.com/oops

Initially, this error effected youtube login on all every browser I use. Clearing the cache and history on those, after having fixed the password issue, fixed the problem on them. Firefox, however, is refusing every fix.

I have cleared the cache, the history, going back to 'Everything.' I uninstalled and reinstalled the browser. I have disabled all add-ons and enhanced tracking. I have gone into the advanced configuration settings for firefox and deleted the cookie files for my profile. Youtube and Google are ON my security whitelist. I've tried "forget about this site." I've tried private browsing after first clearing the cache and history, "forget about this site", and after deleting the cookie sqfiles.

It has been days, and I am going in circles! Can anyone please help me?

After a recent update my bookmarks toolbar appears blank. It is shown, but empty. When I go to the bookmarks menu I find all of the bookmarks shown as being on my bookmarks toolbar. How do I get them back where they belong?

After a recent update, all my tabs disappeared. I had set them in tab groups. It's all gone. This is despite having settings selected to restore tabs from previous session on opening.

This happened when I dl latest version of FF. Short Instagram videos presented as part of a story on yahoo.com website are not loading. I do not have Enhanced Tracking and never had this problem until installed newest version

Every time I close Firefox, I lose cookies for banking, financial and news access requiring me to go through a lot of effort. re-establishing cookies with painful waste of time, I am hoping a change to the config files will override user settings that delete everything when firefox closes.

Failing that, can you designate which cookies are permanent anywhere in your application?

Whenever I try to play any video, it plays for a milisecond and then stops. Once I click to start again, same thing happens, I cannot watch videos like this.

I tried clearing cache, disabling extensions, disabling DNS resolver and the hardware thingy, also checking for Firefox updates, but nothing seems to help. I switched to firefox to escape ai, but I cannot get work done properly here, please help and suggest what more I can try to fix it.

When I start Firefox, open the application menu, and select Bookmarks, about 50 Bookmarks are displayed under "Recent bookmarks". Many of the bookmarks are not recent. Some are months old and several might be years old.

I've used Firefox for years and only noticed this because I'm trying to help a friend who is having trouble with and old Windows 10 laptop. I installed Firefox 1560.1 (64bit) and added a lot of folders and bookmarks using "Manage bookmarks" or Ctrl-Shift-o. It currently only has 42 bookmarks displayed under "Recent Bookmarks" because I started Rt-clicking and deleting them before I figured that this deletes the bookmark that I had added to a folder in addition to removing it from the Recent bookmark list.

I feel this feature (Recent Bookmarks) totally negates the privacy and security that the Clear Browsing data and Never remember history options USED to give me.

When I in Firefox try to print a page from Google Kalender (Swedish), it just turns out blank. All other kinds of printouts , e.g. Word, web pages, etc., works fine. This problem started some weeks ago. Please help! Thank you!

Using Mozilla VPN (Flathub version 2.39), Firefox Multi-account Containers won't let me assign a location per container as it did with the APT version - instead, under each container config it just says "Get Mozilla VPN" on a blue button.

But it does use the old config I had (so my old "US" container still exits in the USA, for instance).

This occurred on my old Ubuntu 24.04 system, using Gnome desktop; and also now on my new KDE system (Plasma 6.7.4) even if I tweak "configure permissions" in Discover to allow access to everything.

Any help gratefully received!
