Dear Firefox,

I have just reinstalled my operating system after some issues. After reinstalling my browser, I logged into my browser after changing the password, but now no data is being synced. The open tabs, bookmarks and saved passwords were the most important, but none of that has synced back. After waiting for a little bit I decided to press the synchronize now button, but that also didn't do anything. Is there perhaps something wrong with the syncing right now? Or is there another way to get that data back? I didn't save it as I normally don't have to.

Firefox went through a pretty major change recently. i could see I had to change my toolbar customisation back to how I wanted it. However, I have about half a dozen add-ons controlled via icons on the browser, but all the icons are gone and I see no way to get them back.

Until the recent Firefox update I could switch these add-ons on or off whenever I wanted via icons on the menu toolbar. I now see no way to get these controls back.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is broken”.

I have a problem with my primary email. I cannot send out or receive. I'm working with my provider but no resolution as of yet. They did check my settings at the provider level but said everything looks good. I've thoroughly checked and rechecked all my email settings and am unable to see a problem. I'm thinking that since I am not signed into my browser (Mozilla Firefox) with it telling me my account is disconnected that I need to Sync my account, but I cannot do that.

So, I have been trying to Sync my Mozilla account but being I have a problem with email I am unable to receive your email code to completely sign into my Mozilla account. What I am wanting to do is to sign into my account and add a secondary email address so to receive your sign in code so that I am able to finish syncing my account.

I am lost to know what to do from here! You will be unable to reply to me using my regular primary email address because as I say, I cannot send or receive, so how can you even help me? Please help me somehow! I'm sure you have my phone number being I would think it's on my account. Can you phone me? Hopefully! Not sure whether I should put a phone number or the added secondary email address in here so you can add it for me. I can't sign into Mozilla to do anything. I went through my Google account to get this far so to hopefully send this to you. Your help would surely be appreciated! Whenever I go onto a Microsoft website, I have a terrible (consistently mildly inconvenient) time signing in. For whatever reason, it always tries to sign in with my school account instead of my personal account, and I have to manually change to the account I actually want to use. I don't know why it keeps defaulting like this but it's very annoying, what can I do about it?

When visiting Springer's websites (and others), I cannot select any text using Firefox (but I can with Chrome). I cannot find the setting to modify to enable this ability (text selection).

When I sync my Firefox account, my old data, themes, and add-ons come back. There are add-ons, themes, passwords, and usernames from 3-4 years ago that I no longer use. How can I reset my sync data and sync again? In short, there is an 'overwrite' situation; the old data remains while the new data is synced over it.

my extensions got unpinned and the new tab button is gone, the tab overview is gone, the extension button is to the left of the address bar, the back and forward buttons are to the left of the address bar, the back and forward button are swapped, WHY.

In the screenshot i pinned the 3 extesions i use again, they were unpinned before

Hello, I have an issue with installing other extensions. Every time I have been trying lately it keeps prompting me to check my internet connection. I have checked it, it is fine, going strong, supporting constant gaming with no lags or spikes, I have no VPN active when trying to install. Are extensions no longer supported by newest mozilla version or something? It is the only browser with this issue and I will switch the main browser if I cannot get extensions to make life easier.

On Win11.64, I noticed some weeks ago Firefox refusing to automatically open sites. I’ve also sites telling me that JavaScript is disabled. But javascript.enabled = true, in settings. I’ve renamed the folder to Firefox.old, and installed a fresh copy—though then ported bookmarks, etc. Same issues. I’ve cleared the cache. Same issues. Firefox in Private Window mode works fine. Any kindly help would be appreciated. Thanks

Running Firefox on macOS Sequoia 15.0. Afternoon of Tuesday, 8 October, Firefox abruptly ceased loading any pages. I eventually learned of the malware incident and downloaded Firefox 131.0.2 last night and overwrote the existing file. It worked for a brief moment, then also ceased functioning. Have downloaded 131.0.2 several times now, with no further success. Currently dead in the water with Firefox, and stuck with Safari. :(

All my bookmarks and toolbar are gone after you forced me to upgrade firefox. For example, say, you have 3 opened tabs in a Firefox (FF) windows. Normally, when you close FF and then re-open FF, it restores 3 previous opened tabs.

But, if you have another FF windows opened at the same time, when you close the FF windows with the 3 opened tabs and re-open back a new FF windows, FF won't restore the 3 opened tabs.

Same thing happens when you have another Private FF windows at the same time, when you close the non-Private FF with the 3 opened tabs, and then you re-open FF, it loses the 3 opened tabs.

That's why you can see 'countless' question about lost opened session, because of the issue above along with crash etc.

Is this a bug or a known feature?

As the subject says Firefox very suddenly started giving me terrible loading times, despite all the sites working perfectly fine on other devices and browsers. Issue continued with troubleshooting mode, not sure where to go from here. I will open youtube, it won't load about 5 thumbnails, I click on a video and it sets it to 140p and then it still lags the entire video as if I was using 1kbps internet. I tested my wifi connection and its having no problems. Something similar happened when I used to use Opera GX, it was fine for a long time and then one day terrible performance. Please let me know where to go from here. Windows 11 Pro.

Hello, Does anyone else experiencing random firefox crashes ? It shuts off with no erros at random points. It started happening after recent update, where mozilla decided to remove the option that allowed to hide "list all tabs" which is moronic.. I updated my drivers to the latest.
