how come when ever i install any antivirus except for windows defender do i get this in Firefox Your browser is being managed by your organization. i went to policies but do not know what to do why can this not be removed from Firefox what do i need to do in policies to get rid of this. here is what i get in policies did not remove any thing this is what i get help please thi is documentation in policies.. Recently I've noted that tabs on my browser move from where I had them all the way to the far right end of the tabs list, and it happens at random. There'll be times when I click on another tab while listening to music or a video on another only to find the tab I was listening to had moved when I go to click back on it. Without fail, I've found these tabs at the far right end of the set of tabs, and I need to know how to put a stop to this. It's inconvenient, and annoying in extreme. This has to be due to a recent update, because up til a couple months ago, this didn't happen at all. If there's a setting that I can change in about:config, I would like to know about it, because you can bet I'll disable this feature.

i installed firefox browser in my pc. when i opened firefox before i logined to my account it synced with edge . when i logged in to my firefox account it synced and updated my passwords to my old passwords. i lost all updated passwords. is there a way i can recover my passwords

So What do I do with my existing Firefox?

If I don't like it, can I go back?

Hi there all!

I have been using these Add-on's for years and suddenly this week they 'dropped off' - note the greyed out ones that no longer work. I did report the add on's via the button inside to the developers as potentially broken but I'm not sure how I would hear anything back from them about that. After about 4-5 days now they are still not working. I'm unsure why they are greyed out, and the others are not - why these stopped working and the others ok. Here are the screen shots of the ones I'm referring to! They were *VERY GOOD* add on's! I would super love them back.

So yeah we're on a Windows domain, but I'm the admin and I need to add a custom search engine and can't because "Your browser is being managed by your organization" basically neuters a ton of stuff.

I don't care, small office and I need control over FF. The help documentation I have seen are not even remotely clear. Is there a simple way to just LOSE this completely? I accept the risks, and not because we're lax on security but really need that custom search engine. Specifically, lose Google and replace with a Google search that strips out AI. The new Google search would be this:

Doing any search brings up result page that just has my query and a search magnifying glass - not the search results as expected and working on Mac.

Hello I have a problem, namely at work when I click a link to a photo, the Firefox browser open a new tab but displays nothing (white background), but when I hover over the link and click enter, what should appear is what should be there. Where in the settings can I change it so that such links do not have to be approved by enter.

Hi, I am curious to know why I can't completely remove the Dutch language in the language settings. When I installed the browser it was automatically set-up to Dutch - a language don't speak - then I was able to add English but some functions like spelling corrections are still in Dutch. I would like to get rid of it. I have the same problem with German on another computer. Thanks!

Hi, I already know that Firefox, especially LibreWolf, is probably the best browser along with TOR and Brave about protecting against fingerprinting. However, after reading this paper https://arxiv.org/abs/2506.00719 about browser fingerprinting via WebAssembly I am wondering if and how Firefox, LibreWolf, can protect us against it. I already read this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-protection-against-fingerprinting, but I could not find any reference to such protection. Thank you

Hello. I just have a general question. I have read about it a little but I get mixed info. Some say yes, some say no.... So, is it possible to get a virus or malware or any of that spyware stuff on mobile phones like you can on a computer? Particularly Android phones. They have all these anti-virus apps and stuff you can download saying they're designed specifically for Android mobile devices but then I have read articles that say that the Android operating system is not the same as, let's say, a Windows PC operating system so it's not possible to download spyware onto it. I'm just curious and appreciate any info. Thank you!!

hi, i cant find an option to dismiss the new sidebar. it's pointless and i can switch all the buttons off, but now there is just an empty space at the side of my browser. very annoying. i hate the AI integration and i will not be recommending this browser to anyone in the future because of it. I have spent years convincing others to make the switch to firefox, but what's the point if it ends up just as toxic and useless as every other browser. disappointing.
